25 Cute DIY Christmas Decorations

Long gone are the days of the traditional red and green Christmas; they’ve been replaced with tons of pink and bright bold colors. When I’m searching for decorating ideas, Eloise and Barbie are some of my biggest influences. I also look for projects that won’t take a ton of time to create since December is such a chaotic month. There’s holiday shopping, packing and planning my annual trip to NYC and Massachusetts, and trying to get all this done before I leave. This means I don’t have a lot of time to decorate my apartment but I still want it to look trendy and festive.Read More →

Haunted Hotel

This past weekend when my boyfriend and I were planning our date night, I suggested that we explore a haunted hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Usually when we go out on a Friday night, we meet up with friends for drinks, or we’ll head to a trendy eatery. Being so close to Halloween, I wanted to do something festive but also avoid the typical tourist attractions. We’ve been binge-watching The Haunting of Hill House (a must see), and that definitely inspired my idea. We also stopped by my favorite bookstore located inside an old bank vault. I’m not sure how I feel about “ghosts,” andRead More →

Easy DIY Fall Decorations

One of the many elements I cherish about the autumn season is creating easy DIY fall decorations. I’ll start by scanning the Internet for inspiration. Then I’ll head to the craft store to pick up supplies and invite my girlfriends over for a “DIY party.” I’ll have potpourri simmering on the stove and serve apple cider and donuts. It’s an entertaining girls night in and allows us a chance to catch up while creating one-of-a-kind fall crafts. This year I’ve come up with a list of 25 projects that have inspired me. Secret Rosé Garden

I recently visited The Secret Rosé Garden, a pop-up cafe at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. I‘m obsessed with rosé and roses so as you can imagine I was ecstatic when I came across this limited-time event on Instagram and I knew I had to visit right away! This elegant installation was created to celebrate the hotels 90th anniversary, and by celebrate I mean they’ve recreated the famous Garden Lounge for our generation to enjoy. If you didn’t know, the Garden Lounge was a fixture of the hotel during the 1960s and 1970s. The Secret Rosé Garden is situated on the rooftop and features stunning viewsRead More →

Evening Summer Soiree

I recently threw a party to celebrate my 25th birthday. Being a milestone, I wanted to host an extra special event, so I planned an evening summer soirée with my closest friends and family. It was a magnificent event that took a lot of preparation but was so worth the effort. You will see that throwing a successful party can be made easier with the appropriate planning and a bit of creativity! Planning for the Event I knew it would be sunny andRead More →

Simply Earth Essential Oils Recipe Box

Before I was gifted the Simply Earth Essential Oils Recipe Box, my knowledge of essential oils was very minimal. I would add a few drops of eucalyptus or lavender to my diffuser at night and drift off to sleep. Over the last few years I’ve made a lot of changes in my life. I gave up eating meat, I try to avoid processed foods, and eat mainly organic. I’m always on the quest to live healthier and I continue to research new ways to improve my overall well-being, and that’s where Simply Earth comes in. I received the August essential oils recipe box and itRead More →

Star Map

When my boyfriend and I moved into our new apartment we had a lot of white empty walls that we were looking to fill with unique artwork. We outgrew a lot of the previous pieces that were hanging up in our old apartment, or they no longer fit with the decor in our new place. We both have totally different styles; he’s into surrealism and I’m into trendy, street art, and pop art. However, there is once piece that we both equally agree on and thoroughly love which is our Star Map print by Modern Map Art. We collaborated with this digital design company thatRead More →
