In December like millions of others, I’ll be flying back home for the holidays. Take it from someone who’s had her fair share of flight drama, like a flight delayed overnight, canceled because of bad weather, luggage lost twice (one of the times it took four days to receive!), and lost my license the day before flying…that I’ve learned what and what not to pack in my carry on bag. A little while ago my friends and I reserved tickets to The Broad museum in DTLA. Artists featured there include Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Ed Ruscha, Kara Walker, Christopher Wool, Jeff Koons, Cy Twombly, Joseph Beuys, Barbara Kruger,  Cindy Sherman, Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, plus many more. We weren’t able to get into the infinity mirrored room. Hopefully next time. Here are some of my favorites… On the second floor they have a gift shop that sells coffee table books, games, ornaments, jewelry, tea cups, pictures, and other cool things.
