It doesn’t matter if I’m hosting a fall soiree or a get together in the middle of the summer, there’s a certain way I go about doing things, and I’ll make a few adjustments depending on the occasion. Living in a high rise apartment, I’m lucky to have a balcony that overlooks the skyscrapers in downtown Los Angeles. The other day I was viewing my Instagram stories and saw how my sister turned her new backyard in Brooklyn into a garden lovers paradise. Sugarfina Valentine's Day Charcuterie Board

I have an enormous sweet tooth so I look for any excuse to indulge in sugar. Hotel birthday party

A few years ago Billy and I started a tradition of spending the days leading up to Christmas Eve in New York City. My Birthday happens to fall when we are there so I’ve been unable to celebrate with my family. This time they joined us and we had a little get-together. Rather than doing the typical dinner, followed by cake and presents at a restaurant—I choose to have the party in our hotel suite. Since I was busy packing for my trip and holiday shopping, there wasn’t a ton of time to devote to planning it. I jotted down a few notes and followedRead More →

Long gone are the days of the traditional red and green Christmas; they’ve been replaced with tons of pink and bright bold colors. One of the many elements I cherish about the autumn season is creating easy DIY fall decorations. I’ll start by scanning the Internet for inspiration.
